Ok ladies & gents...imagine the longest shopping day you've ever had. Now multiply the intensity by 100...you now have a realistic picture of 'market' aka apparel trade shows:) Last week we were in Sin City where one of the biggest bunch of trade shows happens twice a year...Moda, Magic, Project, Accessories the show and ENK. Because we're always on the lookout for fab new designers & styles to bring you, we attend them all (not to mention NYC & Chicago shows)!! Of course this is a part of having a boutique we love, seeing what's fresh & new and ordering what we know our customers will go crazy for months in advance. Which means you better be focused and on point, therefore your mind is basically mush at the end of each day.
As far as silhouettes go...love it or hate it, the high-low/mullet dress is EVERYwhere and going strong into Fall so get used to it:) We're also still seeing a lot of cut-outs and 'easy' bodies for Spring/Summer.
Polka dots, pastels/nudes, brights, chevron/stripe paisley & 'granny floral' (read: soo ugly-cute) ruled for prints and colors, as well as seeing the navajo/aztec vibe still a huge influence.
Happy shopping!!
XOXO
