OMG it's been 4 years today since we opened the doors at le Dress!! It seems like just yesterday and forever ago at the same time:) So THANK YOU for your support over the years...it means so much to us!!
With the four year mark approaching, we wanted to switch things up a bit and are now carrying TOPS & DENIM in addition to fabulous frocks. After years of placing personal orders for amazing tops from the designers we love, we realized we shouldn't keep this all for ourselves. We have tops from designers we already covet and have also added denim from James Jeans, MiH, BlankNYC and Henry & Belle (a Chicago based brand we love)!! Of course all the tops and denim range in styles and price points so as always at le Dress, there is something for every body and every budget!!
Join us this Friday, June 1st, for wine tasting and 30% OFF the entire store as we'd like to say THANK YOU FOR THE PAST 4 YEARS & CHEERS TO MANY MORE:)

Hello Yellow! Hello Sunshine!
Yellow is everywhere you look, hues ranging from pale to neon. We love yellow in solids, stripes and floral prints! Although, yellow may have symbolized cowardliness in the past we encourage you to not be afraid to sport yellow this season. As I've been saying for years, 'Confidence matches everything!'

The Met Gala; FAVS & FLOPS
Every year fashionistas and celebrities alike (those lucky enough to get the invite) invade NYC for the annual Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala; aka the Met Gala. Here, anything goes in the name of fashion...we saw loads of feathers, sequins, lace and (that's right) leather!! Some looks to die for and some looks you just wish would've died. See some of our favs & flops below...
FAVS
January Jones- Versace (love, love, love)
Gisele Bundchen aka Mrs. Brady- Givenchy (now that is a black dress)
Camilla Belle- Ralph Lauren Collection (to-die-for glamour)
Rihanna- Tom Ford (very covered up for the songstress, but who else can pull off second skin croc?!)
Amber Heard- Zac Posen (LOVE this gown, so sexy, feminine & classy at same time)
Karolina Kurkova- Rachel Zoe (Over-the-top & so appropriate for the Met)
FLOPS
Kristen Stewart- Balenciaga (back to the 80's not in a good way, a hodgepodge of not good)
Beyonce- Givency (I normally feel this superwoman can do no wrong but, was the back view was screaming more "desperate to show off my post baby body" than her typical sultry/sexy/classy style)
Elizabeth Banks- Mary Katrantzou (a little too much inspiration from her recent Hunger Games role?)
Jessica Chastain- Louis Vuitton (unflattering much?!)
Brooklyn Decker- Tory Burch (too frumpy & does nothing for her incredible body)
TELL US...who were your Favs and Flops of the Met gala this year???
XOXO,
le Dress

Derby Days
The Kentucky Derby will be up and running this weekend, but you don't have to be in Churchill Downs to enjoy the festivities, tradition and fashion of this classic event...
We have a few fabulous ideas to complete your own southern hospitality style fete! We all know it's not the Derby without The Early Times Mint Julep, this is a must and makes the whole day a bit better! Make sure you're dressed in your Southern-Belle-best...these days anything goes from chic slim silhouettes to feminine full skirt dresses to the most daring fashions your confidence can afford. But always in color so have fun with your accessories if your dress is a solid color. So go ahead and be creative, we suggest using fresh flowers, ribbons, layer up the pearls, just as long as it's fun and feminine!
So throw on your hat (the bigger the better), mix up a Julip and let the races (and fun) begin:)
